We're all about keeping music live and local and the more people that get involved, the better. 
Please fill in the Application Form below and pay your membership fee  of £15, which covers you AND your household.

It's time to renew your membership for 2025. ​We hope you have enjoyed the live music we have brought to the community over the past year and that you are happy to support our work for the coming year.

WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN THE HORSLEY LIVE MUSIC CLUB?
We're a local group of music enthusiasts that is committed to keeping music live and local in the villages of East and West Horsley. Over the past year, we have organised 13 live music shows - each of them has sold-out and been a great success. We've also raised thousands of pounds for local charities and supported the community in various ways. 

Since we started in 2022, we've run more than 35 live music events. We've covered most musical genres - blues, folk, rock, pop and Jazz - and booked a wide range of artists, from tribute bands like the Counterfeit Beatles and Totally Blondie,  to original artists like Chris Difford, Albert Lee, Connolly Hayes, Hollie Rogers and Steve Brookes. Our website contains details of all our events, including in many cases photos and video. 

What we're doing is very rare indeed - few communities of our size do anything like this.  As live music continues to decline right across the country, we're doing our best to keep it live.  We're all volunteers and the Club is a not-for-profit association.  We're fortunate to have some marvellous venues in our villages and are grateful to them for their support. To do all this, we need a group of active and involved members.  

What do we look for from our members?

• You will probably live in Horsley, or nearby
• You will come to as many of our events as you can 
• You'll enjoy socialising with other members at our events, maybe over a drink
• You might want to put up your hand to help out from time to time.  We'd really appreciate that!

The main benefits of membership are:

• Priority booking  for most events. This means the chance to see top-quality live music,  in intimate, comfortable venues - all on your door step
• The opportunity to get involved in planning and running Live Music events - from making the tea to organising the entire event
• Being part of something worthwhile in our local community. We are proud to have made a real difference and enjoy the community and sociability of our club and our shows

Where does your money go? Thus far, we have generated a surplus, with which we have  purchased stage lighting, mobile staging and sound equipment. These have become community assets. Our overheads include Public Liability Insurance, our website, promotional costs, and membership of The National Federation of Music Societies. And we need to manage our cash flow.
