After his highly successful performance at Horsley Towers, we are delighted to welcome back John Peppard, who will be performing two sets of his own songs and selected covers, using acoustic and electric guitars. Those who saw him will know that John is an extremely talented singer, songwriter and guitarist whose softly-spoken charm easily drew the audience into his stories of Nashville, songwriting and open guitar tunings.
About John Peppard
Grammy-nominated songwriter John Peppard, originally from Derry in Northern Ireland, now lives in Surrey. He has written songs for major acts such as Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood and Michael McDonald.
He co-wrote the Grammy-winning song "In Another's Eyes" for Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. It was a Number 1 song in the USA and has been featured on albums selling in excess of 25 million copies.
John makes regular trips to Nashville, where he has written with Beth Nielsen Chapman, Bernie Chiaravalle, Marshall Crenshaw, Charlie Dore and George Marinelli, amongst many others.

The Malting House is a separate building at the back of the Barley Mow, West Horsley, KT24 6HR. It can be accessed via the Car Park at the rear. It is the home of the Horsley Live Music Club and is used regularly for intimate musical events, featuring acoustic, folk and jazz artists. There is a bar and a stage, some seating and tables, and a relaxed, friendly and cool vibe. Please note:

- Doors open at 7.15. Music will start promptly at 7.45 and finish by 10.15. There will be two sets and a half hour interval. Please show respect to the artists by being prompt.
- Tickets are £12.50 (plus a booking fee). Admission is by advance booking only. Tickets can only be booked online via Ticketsource - click here
- There are no concessions, no refunds and no resale facility
- The ticket price covers admission only. Limited seating is available - first come, first served. We regret that we cannot reserve seating.
- There is a bar, with a limited drink selection. To save time, you may wish to buy your first drink in the pub, then bring it into the Malting House.
- The club, its events and its music choices are intended for adults. If you bring children, this is at your own risk
- The Barley Mow is open all day for drinks. Food is served in the pub from 6.00. If you wish to eat, may we suggest that you book a table for close to 6.00. It is not possible to eat in the Malting House.
- There is limited parking - we suggest that you consider sharing a ride or walking. There is parking a few hundred yards away at the Village Hall.
