MIDSUMMER MUSIC PARTY. SATURDAY 14th JUNE 2025
In the Garden at the Barley Mow, West Horsley. 2.00 - 6.00 Featuring THE DEPUTIES and Andrew Maxwell-Morris Supporting CHERRY TREES our local children's charity The Horsley Live Music Club welcomes members and friends to its Midsummer Music Party in the garden of the Barley Mow in West Horsley. The event will feature headline act, The Deputies - one of London's finest sixties band - plus local performer, Andrew Maxwell-Morris and friends. If wet, the main band will perform in the Malting House, behind the pub. Food and drinks will be available throughout the afternoon, including a Bar and BBQ in the garden. SUPPORTING CHERRY TREES Cherry Trees , our brilliant local children's charity, provides a fantastic service to children with complex disabilities and their parents, and relies upon charitable donations for a significant part of its income. Everything we raise from this event, after costs, will go to Cherry Trees. Last year, we raised more than £2,500 and hope to exceed that this year. So, while this event is free to enter, we hope that you will be happy to consider making a donation, either upon entry or by buying advance tickets. There will also be a raffle. ADVANCE TICKETS A limited number of advance voluntary donation tickets are available - these are £12 per person (which includes booking fees). If you purchase tickets in advance, you get priority admittance to the Malting House to see the band, in the event of rain. For this reason, advance voluntary donation tickets are limited to 100 people. You also have the satisfaction of knowing that come what may, you have supported the event and the charity. BOOK YOUR TICKETS - CLICK HERE THE DEPUTIES Our headline act, The Deputies, are well-known faces on the legendary Richmond and Twickenham music scene. They are a good-time sixties covers band - more blues and rock than cuddly pop - and perform regularly on the pub and festival circuit around London and the South East. They are a side-project of well-known producer/composer/performer Rick Cassman and are all seasoned pros. Listen to their recent album, A Whole Lotta Covers, on Spotify, or watch the videos to the right. INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVENT
This event is promoted by the Horsley Live Music Club. Drinks and food are provided by the Barley Mow. The Club is a not-for-profit group of local music enthusiasts - all volunteers - who put on regular live music events in Horsley. More information: www.horsleylivemusic.com |

MIDSUMMER 2024
A lovely sunny afternoon in the garden of the Barley Mow saw a great performance by the Charley Farley Sunday Four, who were absolutely ideal for this event and will certainly be re-booked. They are hugely entertaining and highly reccomended. The support act was The Horsley All Stars - an ad hoc grouping of club members - who are less likely to be re-booked! An estimated 250-300 people attended and more than £2,500 was raised for Cherry Trees. A great time was had by all. On the right, the Charley Farley Sunday Four and below, some of the Horsley Live Music Club team enjoy a well-deserved drink. |
