It all happens on Thursday 24th September, 2026, in the newly-refurbished Malting House at the Barley Mow, in West Horsley. This will be a fully-seated show (on our new chairs). ABOUT THE SHOW
LOCATION. The Malting House is a separate building at the back of the Barley Mow, The Street, West Horsley, KT24 6HR. There is a bar, a stage, seating for all, and a relaxed, friendly and cool 'club' vibe. PARKING. There is limited parking - we suggest that you consider sharing a ride or walking. TIMINGS. Thursday 24th September. The doors of the Malting House will open at 7.15. The show will start at 7.45. There will be two sets, with an interval, finishing by 10.00. The bar will be open until 10.30. Please show respect to the performers by being prompt. Latecomers may have to wait for a suitable interval in the show before being admitted. TICKETS. Tickets are £17.50 (including booking fee). Seating is available for all - first come, first served. You are welcome to stand at the back if you prefer. BAR. There is a bar in the Malting House, with a limited drinks selection. You may wish to buy your first drink in the pub before coming into the Malting House. PUB / FOOD. The Barley Mow is open all day for drinks. Food is served in the pub from 6.00. If you wish to eat, we suggest that you book a table for 6.00, so you do not miss the show. It is not possible to eat in the Malting House. PLEASE NOTE. Voices and instruments will be amplified. The evening is intended for adults, but under-18s are welcome if accompanied by an adult. HORSLEY LIVE MUSIC CLUB. This event is promoted by the Horsley Live Music Club. The club is a not-for-profit group of local music enthusiasts - all volunteers, who put on regular live music events in Horsley. Something different almost every month, for the past four years - that's 55 shows and counting. By purchasing a ticket you become a member of the Horsley Live Music Club. A trio with a massive sound, the Rigmarollers put vocals, harmonica, guitar and sousaphone over an irresistible backbeat to create something quite unique and very enjoyable. They call it Original Blues with a New Orleans groove.
The Rigmarollers are a popular live band, with regular festival headliner slots and an ever-growing following. Their songs get national radio play, including Cerys Matthews' BBC Radio 2 Blues Show and Jazz FM's Blues & Boogie. And their third album will be out later this year, preceded by a new single later this summer. Their second album, '21st Century Speakeasy' included popular singles 'The Duke of Rent' and 'Mr Crawfish' (see videos to the right). The Rigmarollers are Ed Hopwood on vocals, harmonica and percussion, Julian Marshall on guitar, and Ewan Penkey on sousaphone. Together they bring the party wherever they play. "Really love that."
