Horsley Live Music Club proudly presents an entertaining double bill of lively, eclectic acoustic music, with Cajun Boogaloo and the Hedge Inspectors, on Thursday 3rd September, 2026. This will be a fully-seated show, in the newly-refurbished Malting House at the Barley Mow,  in West Horsley. The doors and bar open at 7.00 and the show starts at 7.45. Tickets are £20 (inc. booking fee). CLICK HERE to book. 

ABOUT THE SHOW
LOCATION. The Malting House is a separate building at the back of the Barley Mow, The Street, West Horsley, KT24 6HR. There is a bar and a stage, seating for all, and a relaxed, friendly and cool 'club' vibe. 
PARKING. There is limited parking - we suggest that you consider sharing a ride or walking. 
TIMINGS. Thursday 3rd September. The doors of the Malting House will open at 7.00. The show will start at 7.45. There will be two one-hour sets, with an interval, finishing about 10.15. The bar will be open until 11.00. Please show respect to the performers by being prompt. Latecomers may have to wait for a suitable interval in the show before being admitted.
TICKETS. Tickets are £20.00 (including booking fee). Admission is by advance booking only. Tickets can only be booked online - click here to book. Please note:  there are no concessions, no refunds, no returns and no resale facility.
FULLY SEATED. Seating is available for all - first come, first served. You are welcome to stand at the back if you prefer. 
BAR. There is a bar in the Malting House, with a limited drinks selection. You may wish to buy your first drink in the pub before coming into the Malting House.
PUB / FOOD. The Barley Mow is open all day for drinks. Food is served in the pub from 6.00. If you wish to eat, may we suggest that you book a table for 6.00, so you do not miss the show. It is not possible to eat in the Malting House.​
PLEASE NOTE. Voices and instruments will be amplified. The evening is intended for adults, but under-18s are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

This event is promoted by the Horsley Live Music Club. The club is a not-for-profit group of local music enthusiasts - all volunteers, who put on regular live music events in Horsley. Something different almost every month, for the past four years - that's 55 shows and counting.  

CAJUN BOOGALOO
Cajun Boogaloo is a trio playing lively Country, Cajun, Old Time, Bluegrass, Folk Roots music from both sides of the Atlantic. The trio features Geoff Chapman on acoustic guitar, who is involved extensively with Folk music; Lesley Shatwell on double bass, who lives for music and exciting harmony - along the way, she has studied singing and taken a music degree; and Bob Shatwell on violin, who started playing fiddle with the Irish and plays many styles, including modern Bluegrass. They perform regularly at pubs, clubs  and festivals in the Surrey, Hants and Berks area, sometimes venturing overseas. They played on the main stage at the Sandwich Folk Festival earlier this year.

THE HEDGE INSPECTORS
The Hedge Inspectors are an acoustic duo featuring Mike and Caroline Hayllor, based just over the border in Hampshire. They perform original songs on a variety of instruments - drawing from multiple genres, to reflect their eclectic musical influences. 
Their songs move from the sublime to the ridiculous and back again, with subjects derived from 'true' situations and the human condition. They thrive on audience participation, so expect to be singing and shouting along! 
​Mike and Caroline play regularly at pubs, clubs and festivals in the Surrey, Hampshire and Berks area. They played Guilfest in the Acoustic Lounge on 4th July this year.
